Through working full time in schools and in the community, Greenhouse coaches develop strong relationships with young people. They help them to improve their health and fitness whilst mentoring them to improve their engagement with their education and community.

Lewisham Rugby Champions

TwickenhamThroughout this term and last, students from Brindishe Lee Primary School in Lewisham were coached by three of our Year 9 students in how to play Rugby Union.  Well done to Conisborough students; Jake Nixon, Ryan McSweeney and Andre Henderson-Halls.

Our students developed their leadership skills while supporting links with nearby rugby club Whitefoot Lane Warriors RFC.  Students also had the opportunity of being coached by Rory Teague who is currently the England Counties Captain and plays for Blackheath 1st XV.

Girls' Football

Girls_Football2At the end of November a group of talented girls from Year 7 & 8 took part in a girls football tournament held by Millwall. 

The tournament consisted of 9 schools and 17 teams.  Our girls competed against some of the other schools and the Conisborough A team reached the quarter finals.  Unfortunately we didn’t win, which was very disappointing for us all, but we all worked really hard together and had a brilliant time.

The Millwall tournament organisers took us on a tour of Millwall stadium and we even got to sit in the home dressing room.  Overall, we all had a lot of fun and we all played to the best of our ability.
