Give & Gain Day 2011

On Friday 24 June, Year 10 students attended a series of workshops with professionals from Lloyds Bank Major Corporate section.  This Lloyds group organises the finance for large organisations such as Sainsbury’s and Virgin Atlantic group to name a few.

Give & Gain is the UK’s largest day of employee volunteering.  Last year, 6,803 employee volunteers from 221 companies injected 1 million man-hours into communities of greatest need by volunteering with over 190 community organisations across the UK.

Business Masterclass with Colfe's

On Monday 22 November, Year 9 students from Conisborough College and Colfe's Independant School worked together on a Hospitality and Catering Masterclass at the Hilton Hotel in Canary Wharf.

Keeping our community clean!

Back in 2009, a number of Conisborough College students applied for the post of Green Warden.  Now in 2012 the Green Warden team are well underway with their project and are established in the local area.

On Thursday 11 March, the Lewisham Business Award ceremony was held at the glorious Blackheath Halls.  It really was a night to remember.

Year 10 students, Iyefa Bangura and Jessica Izunwa-Fashetan were both nominated for the Young Apprentice 2010, for winning the Lewisham inter-schools competition.
