IMG 6943The 'Six Stars Club' invites successful professionals from various careers to speak on issues related to their career journeys such as leadership, ethics, policies, challenges and tips on how to succeed in their chosen career.

Since the club started we have been lucky enough to secure some of the country's top professionals in their field, including lawyers, doctors, IT experts, paramedics and entrepreneurs.  Some of our most well known visitors include: entrepreneur Levi Roots and Singer and Media Broadcaster, Muyiwa Olarewaju. At the beginning of this term we welcomed Mr Robert Swannell, Chairman of Marks & Spencer.

IMG 6976Mr Swannell gave an inspirational talk to students from both Conisborough and Deptford Green.  He spoke about his life, career history, his failures and his successes.  The overarching message from Mr Swannell was that "Determination is key! If you fail, it's not the end of the world. Pick yourself up and keep going".

A huge thank you to Mr Swannell for taking time out of his busy schedule to visit us.

Kate RichardsonThis year we are celebrating our longest serving governor, Kate Richadson who has dedicated over 20 years service to our Governing Body.

quote y tlI first became a governor in the early nineties when the then head teacher, Miss O’Neill, asked whether I would consider standing as a parent governor.  As education is something I feel very strongly about I felt that becoming involved at governor level was the right
thing to do.....
