Residential Trip to Okehampton

At the beginning of September, in only the second week of a new term, a group of intrepid Year 7 adventurers embarked on a trip to Okehampton in Devon.

Whilst away the group were able to experience a wide range of adventurous outdoor activities, which challenged them and enabled them to get to know other members of the Year group and develop the determination to overcome difficulties.

After the long trip, it was straight onto the low ropes course to burn up some of the energy that had built up in the minibus.

Gorge scrambling was a huge amount of fun, even in water that had run off of Dartmoor and was close to freezing.

Archery saw the students develop their hand eye coordination and was a complete change from many of the physical activities during the rest of the week.
