Puzzle Day
On Thursday 23 February, our Year 7 Gifted and Talented group teamed up with students in Years 4 and 5 from Sandhurst, Torridon and Rushey Green primary schools.
The day was led by Josh from the Happy Puzzle Company. Each group of about five, were given a series of floor based puzzle challenges, aimed at stretching their ability to work as a group and their belief that nothing is impossible providing you maintain an attitude to ‘never give up’.
Each student worked extremely well, proving that you can have fun while learning. We would like to thank our feeder primary schools who took part and supported this event, and the Happy Puzzle Company for delivering the session and making it an enjoyable experience!

In May 2011, Conisborough College's Peer Leader's group went along to visit Torridon Junior School. They did several workshops with enthusiastic Year 6 students, who were intrigued to learn more about the process of transferring from primary to secondary school.
