Students were given a presentation from the Brokerage, an organisation which educates the younger generation about city life, as well as teaching them valuable life skills required for the working world. Students were also given the chance to interview key members of the firm, as well as take part in a mock interview.

The trip ended with Year 10 students taking part in a graduate recruitment challenge. The students gained a lot of confidence for the future.

"The day gave me a chance to experience what is required in the interviewing process: from the handshake to marketing my USP. I have also developed my skills in teamwork and time management. I am really glad to has taken part". Neo - Year 10

"The Societe Generale was a great experience, we learnt things that will benefit us as individuals now and in the future.  We also learnt how Societe Generale deals with all business issues.  We interviewed employees of the company, who told us what their roles were within the bank and in-turn, there were five employees that interviewed us, helped us practise our individual 'pitches' and then gave us feedback". Erun - Year 10

"The visit to Societe Generale was a good experience. It opened my eyes to the many different aspects of business. Troy - Year 10
