Conférence Française

E-mail Print PDF

On Friday 27 November, a group of eight French GCSE students attended a French Conference in London's City Temple.

FrenchConferenceStudents were accompanied to City Temple Conference Centre by Monsieur Paul where they obtained valuable information from Senior Examiners and leading subject experts on how to get the highest possible grades in their French Listening, Speaking, Reading and Writing exams.

During the conference, students were given a work pack to enhance their understanding of key themes and points, learned how to prepare well for the exams and how to reach the highest level in their controlled assessments.

All students are now able to understand exactly what the examiners are looking for in all areas of the assessment. Students thoroughly enjoyed the conference and are now confident in achieving their full potential.

"We now feel fully equipped to take on our GCSE French exam". Year 11 student

Year 11 MFL linguists Erin, Hari and Jayden are currently attending the Colfe's breakfast club, where they are in contact with French speakers and developing their communication skills.

Well done to them and I hope we can send more MFL students to Colfe's in the near future.

Mrs Davis - Head of MFL
