Key Stage 3 Maths
Homework is set on a regular basis on MyMaths website, where students have their own personal login and can track their progress.
Key Stage 4 MathsAt Key Stage 4 students follow the Edexcel GCSE linear or modular schemes, depending on their ability and learning styles.
Students are tested each term to ensure that they are on target to achieve their best result. Our aim is to challenge students who are underachieving to get them back on target. This is carried out through revision clubs, assessment and one to one tuition.
Further StudyGCSE Mathematics is a common general requirement for many careers. A good grade will enable you to apply for courses in ICT, teaching and management, as well as entry to university. You will also need an A-B grade if you wish to study mathematics further to ‘A’ Level. Students are involved in Maths outside of the classroom, we are involved in national Maths challenges, master classes and number days.
