A Level Media @ Colfe's
On Wednesday 1 October, Year 11 GCSE students visited Colfe's as an Introduction to A Level Media Studies.
Students were given the opportunity to experience the type of work they will be doing in A Level in the future. The day included a general overview of A Level Media, an introduction to theoretical analysis and a hands-on practical session in the studio. Future Colfe's scholars also had the opportunity to ask former Conisborough students about their studies at Colfe's.

A Determined Scholar
We are extremely pleased to announce, one of our ex-students, Daniella Briscoe-Peaple has secured a place at Cambridge University to study classics.
Daniella joined Conisborough College in 2006 from St Michael's Primary School. SHe was an active member of the school community, taking part in the leadership programme and the annual Shakespeare's School Festival.
During her time at Conisborough College Daniella held the position of Deputy Head Girl and gained 11 GCSE A*-C GCSE grades incuding English, Maths and Astronomy.
At the end of her time at Conisborough, Daniella won a scholarship to Colfe's Sixth Form as part of our association with Colfe's. Daniella studied English Literature, Art and French at Colfe's.
Since the beginning of the academic year, Daniella has settled into life at Cambridge, taking her studies very seriously but also enjoying being part of the Rowing Team.
We wish Daniella the very best of luck at Cambridge University and for her future.
