Malorie Blackman at the British Library  –  The Power of Stories.

On Monday 19th February, Malorie Blackman, author of Noughts and Cross and former Children’s Laureate was interviewed at the British Library.

Students in 7O was able to take part in the livestreaming of this event while sitting in the comfort of their English lesson.  Schools from across the country had the opportunity to asked about her books, how she because a writer and her writing process.

Andrew in 7O remarked – “I enjoyed the interview and the part when she was talking about the process of writing Noughts and Crosses and dealing with racism growing up.  What I learned was it is not as easy to write stories as people may think.”
