Become a Governor

We are seeking to appoint enthusiastic and highly motivated governors to support Conisborough College on its journey to being outstanding. We are a very friendly and welcoming community, and we love nothing better than to show prospective visitors around our lovely College!  

Our governors come from a range of different backgrounds, skills and experience but all share a common interest of wanting the best possible education for the children in our College.

Governors are essential for the effectiveness and success of the College and it is an extremely rewarding and fulfilling role.  All College Governors serve a 4 year term.

You won’t just be a volunteer but you will act as a critical friend to support the leadership of the College as they strive to make the College the College of choice for parents in the local community.

Conisborough College

Conisborough College is part of United Learning Trust whose Trustees hold the ultimate legal responsibility for the governance of its schools. All United Learning schools have a local governing body (LGB); the Chair is appointed by the United Learning Group Board. Details of the Chair and members of Conisborough College's local governing body can be found below, together with any financial or business interests.
